Opinions on Ameda Purely Yours Pump?

I saw this pump advertised and it's about half the price of the Medela. It had raving reviews, but there were only a few- so I'd like to hear some more thoughts on it! Thanks!

I haven't used mine much but so far I really like it. I like that unlike the Medela (I think) it has a closed tubing system so it's easy to clean. I've also heard very good things about their customer service.

It's fantastic. I prefer it 1000X over the 2 hospital grade Medelas I've used.

I love mine, it is easy to clean and I found the set on sale that comes with the tote bag and cooler with 6 bottles which will be perfect for when I go back to work. ?It was definitely a lot cheaper than some of the other models

This is the only pump I would ever buy. By comparison the Medelas are all germ machines. This is the only closed system pump on the market, all the medelas allow microbial amounts of milk to back up into the motor and fester and breed bacteria there. True it is unlikely it will get back into the milk but is that gross enough for you? Hollister (who makes Ameda) has great customer service too, they once did a phone order for me from overseas delivering to a 3rd country the next day to meet me at my hotel.?

I love mine. I used it to EP with my DS for a year. I am now using it again pumping once a day for my DD.

Great pump. Great customer service. It's the only completely closed loop pump so milk can't get into the tubing or motor.
