I had a mini scare this week with my blood pressure (bad CVS) machine. And I have been having headaches. I was in the dr.'s office twice last week, and everything is normal, but now I am paranoid.

STOP IT.. dont get all worked up.. i did this last week and everything was fine.. if you were ok last week at both check ups i would try to put it at the back of your mind!!
When my bp was pretty consistently 90 (bottom #) and my swelling was there, no headaches. My dr. was worried, but also about to leave on a 2wk vac. so we agreed at 37weeks, we'd battled it long enough (since 28 weeks) and I was induced, which led to a c-section delivery of my 10lb DD. If it wasn't for the pre-e I'd have gone 41 weeks and had a 12 pounder!!
With first DD I had significant swelling and gained 15lbs in a week and a half! That, and my BP was over 130 and I'm normally averaging around 104/58!! I ended up gaining 40lbs in the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy and my BP was 160/88 the day I gave birth! But even still -- with this pregnancy, I'm not having any issues!!

The first signs were pretty big weight gains without justification (like if I didn't house everything in sight that week or so), then my pressures went up at appointments, minor swelling, etc. The final diagnosis of pre-e came when my 24 hour urine came back with protein (low levels). Try not to worry about it. I'm sure your doctor's are keeping a close eye on you, if you have concerns.
Severe swelling was the first major sign. I had swelling literally everywhere including my face and eyeslids. The next was severely high blood pressure. I also had vomiting, headaches that wouldn't go away with Tylelenol, dizziness, blurred vision. I went into the doctor and they dipped my urine and it came out positive for protein. They then started a 24 hr urine on me and it came back with 11,000 mgs of protein...300 is the cut-off to diagnose preeclampsia. I was admitted to the hospital right away. I am sure you are fine. Just keep an eye on your symptoms.
