Fever Question

You're not supposed to worry unless 103 or above right? Reagan's is 101-102 but she is eating and drinking well.

Re: Fever Question

  • Yes, that's right... or at least 101-102 isn't rush to ER type of worry if she seems ok otherwise, but I think we all worry anyways.

Sorry she's not feeling good, Eloise and I are both sick with snotty headcolds and it seems like everyone I know has some sort of crud right now.

  • Sorry you guys are sick too. All 3 of us seem to have it here. No good when there is not one well person to take care of the others!

  • This was our house all last week.  I hope she gets to feeling better soon.
  • Charlotte had a 102 fever on Saturday.  She ate and nursed just fine, but was just not herself and just wanted to lay on Mommy to rest.  I think it must have been teething like Rayskit said because she exhibited no other symptoms.  Well, she does have a snotty nose, but it's clear and runny, not indicative of an infection.  After some Tylenol and good sleep, she was good as new yesterday.

My doctor told me not to worry (as long as she's not exhibiting worrisome symptoms other than fever) until the fever is 104.  That definitely warrants an ER visit.

  • Joe has been up to almost 104.3 and the doc said not to worry unless he was still listless when his fever came DOWN!  :)

I hope you guys are feeling better!
