Housework?

in 1st Trimester

My DH is concerned about me doing housework in the first trimester. I talked to my mom and she said as long as I'm not lifting anything crazy I'll be fine. But now the DH has me worried.

 I can do housework and not worry about m/c right? Probably a lame question seeing as I already asked the woman who had 3 kids and no m/c. But just wanted to make sure :)

    um, yes . . . you can. no extreme heavy lifting, but other than that . . . you are MORE than ok.

    I would like the answer to be no we cannot do anything the entire nine months except shop, sleep and eat.  I know Im being lazy but I have no energy.

    No. You cannot do housework. Tell DH he has to do all of the cleaning for 9 months!

    (ok, you can do housework but I'd go with this if I were in your shoes and DH was concerned anyway...)

    Unless you have something wrong and your dr. has told you not to do it, housework is fine. Just be careful how much you lift, and stay away from cleaners with heavy chemicals in them.

    I'm doing as much as I can, which is very little these days b/c of my nausea and body aches. I'm usually ok w/dishes and laundry, but no vacuuming or heavy scrubbing.

    You can do everything as usual, only no heavy lifting. As long as you're not cramping or bleeding and you feel OK, you can do housework and go to the gym. No worries!
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    Housework is fine. ?& cleaners are fine, just don't drink them.

    Haha. Thanks for all the great responses. I thought about just agreeing w/ DH and telling him he had to do it all...but I decided to be nice since he'll be doing it all in a few months. haha
