Trying to Get Pregnant
newbie intro
Hello all! I've lurked for awhile but thought I would say hello. My TTC story:
I started mentioning kids and babies to DH in Novemember but he didn't seem to have much interest and I wasn't sure that I wanted to try soon either. Then we were both hit with "baby fever" when one of my BFFs announced she was pregnant on New Year's. We aren't officially trying til April (using condoms until then). This is my first cycle off BCP. I have a copy of TCOYF and began charting.
Right now charting is driving me crazy. Have I o'd? Will I ever get crosshairs?
I know it really doesn't matter this cycle but I just want to know that I am o'ing and know my cycles when it matters.

Thanks everyone! Even though we aren't trying yet I feel I am getting prepared and trying to learn as much as I can.

Welcome! We're in a similar boat...we decided ober the holidays that we will TTC this summer. I went off BCP this month and started charting too (using condoms until May)...cross hairs will show after you have three days showing a thermal shift.
It's tough waiting and I got frustrated enough to buy some OPKs and they at least confirmed my suspicion about Oing. Sure enough, my temp shifted and a few days later FF showed cross hairs.
Good luck and hang in there! It can take a while for the body to adjust if you're coming off BCP.
