I know it will be up to my RE, but I am just wondering what the case was with other people. My first RE appointment is Wednesday, which will be CD 4. Is it totally impossible that she would be willing to do something like an IUI this cycle? If she doesn't want to start any drugs, should I ask for an unmedicated IUI?
I have already had day 3 bloodwork and an HSG - all clear and normal. My husband had a SA which was "awesome" in the words of my ob/gyn. The SA was performed by my RE's office. We did clomid prescribed by my ob/gyn for 2 months, I ovulated, but I ovulate on my own anyway. No pregnancy obviously.
Just curious what others experiences have been - honestly, what I really want to ask for is a trigger shot and IUI, no other drugs. I just can't fathom many or any more months of waiting to ovulate (my cycles are somewhat irregular, I ovulate anywhere between day 15 and day 26). Also my husband is about to start a new job that requires some travel, and I just know he will be away when I ovulate. Do you think my RE will make us wait until next cycle for something like that? What is a good way to let the RE know I want to be aggressive? I have insurance coverage and I waited a long time before seeing an RE - the impatience and anxiety are starting to get to me!
Re: Question - First RE Appt
Ditto PPs. ?I think starting right away would be highly unlikely.
Good luck!?
