Making fitted diapers?

Does anyone know where to find a good pattern?  tia :)

Re: Making fitted diapers?

  • I love the KCK sized pattern.  I make them without the pockets and just use a lay in soaker for extra absorbency.

  • Check out the diaper sewing divas board. There's tons of great diaper making info on there. Here's a few good ones.

RRP - super easy and basic. It's designed to be snappiable so it's really fast to make but you can add aplix or snaps no problem. Plus it's free.

DDU - I really want to try this one out and the dsd moms seem to love it

Hmm the Trimsie is another one that I think looks great and is really trim (hence the name) but I can't seem to find the dang pattern for it now.

Thanks!  I have no idea if I'm ever going to go into labor, lol!  I'm  having contractions and they are getting more intense, but still manageable and very irregular.  I've started losing some of my mp, but not much.  *sigh*  I do hope she comes soon though.  I have my 40 wk appt on Tue, so I'm hoping I hear good news then :)

Thanks!  I'm on the hunt!  lol!  I was drooling on Goodmamas last night, but I can't spend that much on a diaper, DH would kill me!  LOL!

  • I am glad you posted this... i was just wondering the same thing....

  • I found the trimsies pattern! Both this and the ddu (I think) pattern are with snaps but they can easily be altered for aplix if you prefer.
