I don't know if my baby is a boy or a girl yet but I have decided no mater what I am going to do the nursery in aqua and sage green. I will also get a blue stroller/car seat. If it is a girl then I will do more of a spa/relaxing type theme for the nursery and if it's a boy I will do more of a dragonfly/bugs/grass type theme. Anyone else not embracing the traditional girly colors?
If I do have a girl there will be tons of pink and purple girlie clothes though!!!! hehe.
Re: Anyone else choosing "boyish" colors?
Let's try this again...

We're doing our girl's nursery in bright red & lime green with accents of black and silver. Not traditional in ANY way, but we like bright colours, and we dont want her to think that pink is the only colour little girls are allowed to like.
I think those colors are beautiful and relaxing. I've seen a few bedding sets that would work really well for that theme.
If we end up having a girl I'm going the girly route.
I'm doing green whether it's a boy or a girl mostly because I'm a San Franciscan and I want the nursery to reflect nature and have an "organic" theme. I think aqua--the color of water--is also a gorgeous color to complement that.
