Re: When do you use blankets in crib?

  • me too!  ds doesnt like the sleepsack so not sure what to do next to keep him warm.
  • I have been using blankets for two months now...not big ones

he usually kicks them off or they get tossed aside

  • Loading the player...
  • i was told 1 year.

we have used them for naps but not overnight.?

  • We've always used blankets in his crib. When ds was in the NICU they'd pile 4 or 5 of them on top of him to help keep his body temp up. When he came home in the dead of winter at 4 lbs-ish, we continued to use them for body temp reasons. We never stopped using them. Now he sleeps with a sleep sack and 2-3 thick blankets every night.

  • We have been using blankets for two months now. They are crocheted so air can get through. I also tucked them into the sides of the crib and kept it below the waist at first. Now they are OK with the blanket untucked.

  • We've had them in DD's crib since around 6.5 months.  Her new favorite thing to do now is throw them out of her crib.
