Graco Safeseat vs Snugride 32

    I think I read somewhere that the safeseat was being replaced with snugride 32.  So they may be the same?

    I believe the safeseat holds baby up to 22lbs where the snug ride holds baby up to 30 lbs.  Ditto that they might be replacing the safeseat with the snugride because I registered at BRU a while ago and just last week they are listing the Graco Quattro Tour Nouvelle travel system as new on their website so I am thinking it's because they changed the seats.

    I think the Snugride 32 is replacing the Safeseat and increasing the max weight by 2 lbs.  At least that's what the guy at BRU told us when we were trying to find extra bases for our Safeseats.  They're all now labeled Snugride 32, but are compatible with the Safeseats.  I'd ask someone at BRU or check www.gracobaby.com to find out for sure.

    This explains why in the past 2 weeks the safeseat seems practically impossible to find...

    I think I'm okay with this change. I was thinking of getting the Snugride myself just because it will last a little longer.

    I would rather get the snugride (since this will be the newer model) but I can't find a color to match my stroller (brown and blue) and the safeseat at BRU says it holds up to 30lbs. Are they wrong? Hmm....
