I was contemplating writing the last of the thank you notes on the back of our baby announcements....would this be too tacky?

I wrote a thank you to my OB on the back of our birth announcement, thought he'd like a picture of DS so thought it would work out ok

I keep wanting to do that. I had four showers so I have ton's to write. I asked my mom and best friend, the both said no. I have to hand write them and send the announcements. I also have to write a separate note for people who all went in together to get one gift. To me that is awkward, I don't even know some of them (they work w/my mom).
