  Our dog does that too, but he will also eat cat poop out of the litter box, compared to that the dog eating spit up is no big deal to us.  Dogs are so gross they'll eat anything.

  Yup..our dog does it too.  I gave up being grossed out, and looked at it positively...I didn't have to clean it up!!
