oh....uncle update

My mom just called and said my uncle passed away a few hours ago.  It's been a long road and I have peace in knowing that he is no longer in any pain.  Something tells me God had a reason for my contractions to stop.  One of my fears was that I would give birth and he would pass away on the same day.  Thanks to all of you who have given thoughts and prayers for our family over the past few months!!!!

    I'm sorry...I don't know the back story but I'm glad he's out of pain, but sorry that he was in pain in the first place.

    thanks!  here is the short version.  he got really sick.  they didn't know what it was for months.  finally figured out it was cancer and by then it was too late and had spread pretty much everywhere.

    oh i'm so sorry... I'm glad he is no longer in pain.  You & your family have my deepest sympathies. ((hugs))

    My grandfather passed away on my birthday a few years ago and it's definitely not a good feeling, so i'm glad your little man is staying put for now!

    I'm so sorry.  I know it had to be a tough road, but like you said, he's no longer in pain and that is so comforting when you think of all the sadness that comes from his passing.

    I've read your posts..........I am sorry this has been so difficult.  And, of course, I am sorry that he passed.  Don't really know what else to say other than I feel sad for your loss, yet excited for your L&D.  It is time to meet your little one.  GL.
