Any update from ~SoMdGirl~ re: the picture of her son?

I totally missed that whole thing last night and it was just brought to my attention.  Since I haven't been on since yesterday, I  was wondering if there have been any updates.

That was just sick.  And so, so wrong.

    Someone took a pic of her son, photoshopped a peniis in a banana peel, put it in his mouth and captioned it 'starting solids too soon'.  She contacted the FBI.  I was wondering if there was any progress in finding the sick_fuck that did this.

    Under those circumstances, I really can't blame her if she did GBCN. 

    Just when I thought I had heard it all.  I still can't believe someone would do that.  Disturbing.

    It's like child pornography.  I'd be contacting the authorities if some jackass did that to my baby.  Can you imagine how upsetting that would be?  Who knows what kind of other crap this person could be doing?

    And apparently, the FBI has a division that handles Internet issues.

    It is actually child pornography. Even photoshopped images count as child porn.?

    Sad that I know this even.

    Honestly, I think there are a bunch of demented people on here. Charges for child porn are stiff regardless of state/country. So I hope they get her. God forbid she's a daycare provider or something.

    She did not GBCN, actually. She said she wouldn't be scared off by some sick jerk, and good for her.

    Someone used an AE to post the pic of her son as their own, but then emailed her the photoshopped pic from a Gmail address that was just made up.

    Ditto katey...she said she wasn't going anywhere.  When I asked what the FBI had done she said they gave her a case number and she was to call on Monday.  It still makes me sick.

    That is very disgusting and VERY disturbing.  The internet crimes unit is unfortunately a very large division these days, add to the fact that this is child porn means that when they catch the person who did this, they will be up a MAJOR creek. Seriously, so creepy.

    And this is exactly why no one gets to see the completely adorable and hysterical picture I took this afternoon. Joseph took off his diaper, and then was standing at his Elmo kitchen buck naked with a frying pan in one hand and a fake pizza slice in the other. The pic is a butt shot, no full frontal, but still...you never know WTH someone will do with it.
