Besides the obvious choice of Heathers, what's your favorite movie?
Next question: how did you end up in Scotland?
Can't name just one so I will c/p from facebook:
Lost in Translation, Igby Goes Down, Donnie Darko, Breakfast at Tiffany's, SLC Punk, Best in Show, Office Space, Sex and the City: The Movie, almost anything with Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Smith movies in the following order: Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats, Clerks II, Clerks, Dogma, ....and lots more
I met my DH in DC one summer and we did the whole back and forth thing for 9 months, then he moved to DC and lived with me for 3 months. I moved over here in fall 04 to live with him and get my masters. Been living/working here since.
You liked Clerks II better than Clerks? I can see it. I think Dogma is very underrated but I also totally get how people don't like it because of Damon and Afleck. I don't think I would be able to list the Kevin Smith movies in order - too many things to like. Have you seen catch and release? Good movie in which he acts but does not direct.?
I had diet Irn-Bru with my chips tonight! I love the diet stuff, but the full sugar version is too sweet for me. The place around the corner from us has Irn-Bru Sorbet, mmmm.
I think it tastes like bubblegum flavored flouride treatments if that makes any sense...

Haven't seen it. DH and I "bonded" over Smith the night we met. I asked him if one of his friends was his "hetero-life-mate"
I don't know how easy it is to practice law internationally, but since you have an advanced degree you'd qualify as a "highly skilled migrant" so getting a visa shouldn't be that hard. You'd need a job first though I think.
One of my friends from law school works in a London firm. He even took a short Barrister class to be official there and not just transactional. He really like it.?

We were there the 18th-22nd. The inauguration was crazy and even though we had tickets we didn't get in the ticketed area, but it was really good.
I'm going to FINALLY blog about it tomorrow....
