  I had it a few days ago.  If you aren't cramping it's most likely nothing.  Brown mean old blood, so it wouldn't make sense that something is starting.  I drank a ton of water and laid on the couch all day.  It really helped.  GL!  I am sure everything is fine with you and your babe.

  I had the same thing in my first pg. It actually started off a little bit of red blood, then turned to brown. This actually lasted about 2-3 weeks. When it first started the dr. did an u/s to help put my mind at ease. Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest today. Make the DH rent you some good movies for the weekend! GL

  I had pink spotting and cramping just a couple of days ago.  Went (completely panicked) to the doctor for an u/s, and everything was just fine.  It was caused by a slight infection.  Doc put me on antibiotics.  Stay positive - I'm sure everything is ok.

  I have had brown spotting on and off for the past few days, I called the doctor and was told that it's totally normal.  Some women spot brown throughout their first trimester.

  with my first i spotted at 4 weeks and with this one, i spotted last monday at 8 weeks. ?i was concerned b/c it leaked through my underwear so i called the doc and i'm going in for an ultrasound next week just to make sure everything's o.k. ?like pp, i just drank water and laid on the couch all day and it stopped within 45 mins.

  Brown spotting shouldnt be a problem because it is old blood.  During an ultrasound they told me to expect it because they could see it in there from the baby implanting.  Just keep in touch with your doctor and get plenty of rest.  Good luck.

  I have been stressting about this for 3 days now!!  Thank god it hasn't turned red... but it's very stressful because it seems exactly like I'm getting my period.  I'm also frustrated because everyone on this board seems to rush to get an US when anything happens, and I mine is scheduled for feb 16th.  I've told my doctor about the spotting, but they seem to think it's fine....aaarrgghhh...
