I think I drank some bad milk...

Ugh yesterday morning I had a glass of chocolate milk. It was the organic kind that is found by soymillk so it's not refrigerated at the store but apparently they've got some sort of super packaging on it so that's okay.

I felt fine all morning and then when I got home around 2, I got violently sick (and I'm not talking about puking) and felt terrible. It was like something just hit me all of a sudden.

Then last night I was finally feeling a little better but didn't want a big meal so I made a peanut butter sandwhich and poured another small glass of milk. Then I looked on the carton and saw the sell by/or expiration date was from December 26th!!!! Yuck. Now maybe there are different standards because it wasn't refrigerated at the store but that just sounds fishy to me..... I still feel like crap and am highly suspicious that the milk caused it. 

And DH is gone all weekend ice fishing so I can't even get some lovin' and sympathy.....tear tear...

    dec 26th - that is just wrong.  is the store close enough to you that you could take it back to the customer service counter.  they need to remove the rest of that stock form the shelves.  maybe you could call them if it is too much of a pain to go there.  i hope you don't feel sick anymore.

    the store should also refund you or give a gift card or something - those jerks!

    Ugggh, take it back to the store. Even things that are not required to be refrigerated do expire. Sounds like you got unlucky. :(
