I will be 12 weeks on Monday and plan to tell our extended families then. Announce on facebook, etc. We've already told our parents, a couple uncles, our jobs.... But I still waited until now to tell EVERYONE.

We told our parents/siblings near 8 weeks because of the holidays, and some closer friends as well. I told my boss at 10 weeks, and just started to tell co-workers the last couple of days. Also starting to tell people on facebook, though not through my status, but through messages to individuals. It's a lot of fun to tell people, be prepared for all of the excitement and questions. Also be prepared for some people to act a little weird, or seemingly less excited than you'd expect. Depends on where people are at in their life. Good luck!

We told our parents within the 1st month of getting our BFP. We just actually told our grandparents, aunts/uncles, close friends this past Thursday. I haven't announced it on facebook yet...I thought I'd wait just a little while to do that.

We told our parents and very close friends on Xmas day. Everyone else we're slowly telling over the next couple of weeks. After I'm done telling people in person, I'll release the secret to the world (meaning Facebook, of course).

We told our parents right away. We told my work and some friends and most of the rest of the family this week. DH told his boss this week and will let the rest of his team know next week. Nothing on facebook yet.

Told my dad, brother and sister right away, and also the guy who works in my office in case I came in late or had to run out of the room without explanation, LOL. DH was finally ready to tell his parents just before the first appointment, and we told extended famlies at Christmas (around 9 weeks). I know it was early to spill but we were excited to have everyone find out in person. A couple of friends have found out, and of course I talked to my professors about it. I still have not announced officially yet. I don't know why I just can't do it yet. I have an appointment on Friday afternoon, so I promised myself I'd do a Facebook status update or something after that if everything goes well.

We told our families at 8 and 11 weeks. Friends we've been telling as we see them. I plan on telling work next week (if I can ever find my boss). The rest of the world will find out after that!

We told family on Thursday night and told co-workers. We are waiting til tomorrow to tell friends since a bunch are coming over for Superbowl. Figured it would be more fun to tell in person than on the phone.

We have told all family and close friends. We have two appts this week to hear hb and do u/s so we'll tell co-workers and the whole world after that! I can't wait! The bloat is growing!

we told parents and siblings early on and I just mailed out our "announcements" to main family and friends and theyre starting to get those...early next week I'll announce online etc--

def be prepared for comments--my cousins wife posted on my facebook "boy you two work fast!!!" (wevebeen married since aug-now due in aug of this year) and its kinda embarrasing to recieve that....?

Yes, we told at 7 weeks actually. I had two ultrasounds by then and we had heard and seen the hb. It was a little earlier than planned but DH was excited and wanted to tell him family.
