this happens with every single "group."
and by then end, people either enjoy the snark/humor/whatever or they tend to simply drift away. ?Sure, they may come back once in awhile on 2nd & 3rd try to ask why we can't all just get along & explode rainbow?diarrhea, but for the most part, this?phenomenon?belongs to first tri.
As you have probably noticed, by the 3rd trimester, the girls are even more snarky than I could ever dream to be. ?Why? ?Because it is the natural order of things. ?& because they are about to push 6-9 lb human beings out their vaginas (Lord please help them as I cross myself).
I do not write the rules. ?I simply observe the nature of the boards.?
I am sure there are girls crossing their arms & sticking out their lower lips, saying, "I WILL BE THE CHANGE!" and reconstructing their "YES WE CAN" buttons to represent first tri... but I believe 90% of the girls on the boards will attest that it never happens.
Carry on. ?I am going to a barbeque, where I will gather around a bonfire & drink cold water. ?& eat hotdogs.?

just to chip in my $.02:
it happens more w/women than just regular groups. probably b/c we're kinda catty by nature. we're hormonal. and then when we get ktfu we're even more hormonal. so of course we're gonna get snarky.
and some of us just have very dry senses of humor to start w/.
we're not all alike. if something really offends you, maybe say something. but i'd just ignore it and move on. is it really worth all this drama? on an internet message board? really?
but hey, that's just my $.02.
Normally I am a nice person...but I have a flippin growth inside of me that make me naturally hoochie! So when I hear the deli meat?'s and the "oh I am not pregnant yet...but maybe I am" comments I wanna snarl like the rest of you.
I do believe it is simply part of being in our first trimester of misery. I will be nicer in 2nd tri...for now snark on!
You may want to pet a couple puppies today to balance things out.
Oh there's a websites for poop reporting...so please please I beg of you go on there and talk about your poop. Dont come in here asking me if your rainbow poop means there is something wrong with your baby.
You are very right. It all makes sense. I am still getting used to having all these pregnancy boards. When I was here for #1 the same cycles and "groups" existed but we all had to co-exist on one board! And it was BOTB so we also had the girls who weren't pregnant. Crazy, fun times!

Snark makes the board more entertaining as well
