My insurance company is a jerk.

I had a message to call my insurance company about benefits.  I freaked out b/c i was scared they weren't going to cover my D&C or something.  I call the number back, and it's for future moms.  F*** you.  You're my insurance company.  Don't you know I am no longer pg?  Ugh.  Yes, I cried... a lot....

    Ugh. My insurance company has the same kind of program. The Healthy Pregnancy Program. Ironically, I only used it to call the 24 hour nurse line to ask a question about my m/c. Ugh. I'm sorry hon.

    I am sorry, that sucks. I don't think anyone at those places talk to each other or see all the right info. I had just enrolled in mine at 8 weeks, but had to call and un-enroll so that I wouldn't get calls later.

    ME TOO! I had a D&E back in October and I am just now getting "Your a New Mommy" postcards and crap...phone line support blah blah. All this is from my insurance company. Pay attention people!!!! I toss things in the garbage can between the curb and the house. That way I don't have to see it sitting around.

    I'm sorry, that sucks. I got something in the mail the week after my m/c for my hospital's healthy pregnancy program...I wanted to hurl when I opened the mailbox.

    the same thing just happened to me - I called to enroll over a month ago when I still had my twins.

    I had to tell the nurse we had lost the pregnancy several weeks ago - yes you would think that they would check that....
