I dont think it's ok, is it?  I'm having this pulsing apin across my lower back... it's been like this for a few minutes now.

Re: Pulsing pain in lower back....

  • Do you think its contractions? Like back labor?

  • HOnestly... I really dont knw... I dont know for sure what either one feel like (contractions or back labor).
  • I'd call the dr just to make sure.....I hope I didn't alarm you. I've been watching too many of those birthing babies shows on TLC, there was one lady who nearly gave birth in the car b/c she wasn';t quite sure if she was in labor or not, but she used "pulsing" to describe her contractions.....but she was 3 days away from her due date.

  • I'd say see what happens for a little bit. It doesn't sound like pain pain since you described it as "pulsing" unless you are describing like a muscle spasm or twitch. It might be back labor. Keep us posted.

  • I call it pulsing because i feel a tightness and pain.. and the pulsing comes into play because sometime the pain is a big more intense... right now... it all went away completely.... I guess I should time it in case it comes back, huh?

That sounds like what I would do....it could just be those early contractions that some get a few weeks before they actually deliver. Boy, I bet that's an eye opener of just how close you are to having your baby in your arms!!

Or maybe it's the excitement of Luvs BFP!

  • Could be a combo of both.  ;)
  • I'd definitely time it-  You are close enough that it could be :)  I've heard of cotrax feeling that way... mine were mostly in front, but maybe that's part of the whole "back labor" bit?

    GL :)
