Two things to brag about; first, when I went to pick Sheridan up from my mom's yesterday I needed to print something off for my dad. While I was sitting at the computer, my mom walked in the room with Sheri and turned on the lamp next to the computer (it's the kind that you turn the top portion clockwise and it clicks on.) Well, as soon as my mom turned it on, Sheridan reached out and TURNED IT BACK OFF!! I was stunned and my mom was surprised too. she was like, did you see her turn the lamp off?! (she also commented that she was glad I was there or I wouldn't have believed her if she'd told me later!!)
Second, she laughed out loud today (and I wasn't home to hear/see her!!) DH called when I was on my way to work and he said 'hold on- do you hear her'? She's laughing! I was excited but sort of bummed I missed seeing it in person (especially since I'd just left the house 15 minutes before.)
I can't wait to see what she does next!

Ok but first it's spelled g-e-n-i-u-s.. But that is SO exciting! I love belly laughs, especially in my house when you've got a shrieker and a loud laugher. It's chaotic sometimes.
