Prenatal Vitamins

Is anyone else having a hard time getting these down? I have tried three different kinds and all three seem to get stuck in my throat. Two of the brands are prescription and are both really tiny.

Is there any other alternative to taking them by mouth?

I haven't but I've heard if you trouble with regular PNV's to try Flintstones (2).

Like a suppository? Haha! Sorry - that's all I could think of. Ditto pp...take 2 Flinstone vitamins instead.

I've been taking the Flintstones x 2 since I was pregnant with DS. Since I'm still nursing my Dr told me that I can continue to take them just add some folic acid.

I hated the Rx PNV they're to big and they don't taste good.

I take a liquid prenatal vitamin. It's called "Buried Treasure." I buy it a local co-op.

I have to cut mine in half. I'm usually fine taking pills, but with my gag reflex being so sensitive these days, I can't take them whole anymore.

Your doc can also prescribe you chewable prenatals. I had them for a while but then ended up switching to an otc, easy on the stomach brand. Sorry, I can't remember the name of the prescription...
