Fart bar job

I haz'd it.  but...

It was going to start at 20k less than I make now.  Huge opportunity to get into that company, but too big of a financial risk for us.  Had to turn it down...

The up side... guy I would have worked for just left me probably the nicest message I have ever received and said to expect a call to interview in 2 months for another opening that is much closer to my current salary.

    very cool in regard to the upside.  I don't think anyone can afford a 20k pay cut in this crap economy

    It sounds pretty positive overall.  Sorry the first part didn't work out, but it's always lovely to be thought of again and be told they think so highly of you.

    TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!

    Sounds like you impressed some folks and may have opened up some opportunities for the future.  Definitely a good investment of time, if a little disappointing in the short run.
    ***************************** Our beautiful daughter was born in October 2009. Turns out she was quite the miracle. After two years of TTC, diagnosed with DOR. A couple of failed treatment cycles later, we decided to let go of our hope for more biological children and explore adoption.
