yes on everything except clothing - my mom and i want to hit bru after we learn the sex and have a fun little shopping spree for baby clothes!
EDIT: the only book i registered for was this cute little teething/book combination from baby einstein. ?i'll be buying books to read for baby myself. ??

1. Just some plain wrap shirts and onesies. We're anticipating a lot of clothing gifts anyway (grandparents are already buying).

We have not gone to the store and registered yet, I did a little on BRU.com... but here is what we are going to do:
1. Register for baby clothing? We will register for the basics, but my parents, DH's parents and some of our relative already went NUTS at carters and bought us a ton of stuff from 0-3 mo all the way to a year!
2. Register for baby wash/shampoo/lotions? I registerd for a kit full of all of that from BRU.com
3. Register for toys? I have not decided
4. Register for books? I would like to

3. Register for toys? - No, figured people would get those.
4. Register for books? - No, we have books from my dd.
1. Register for baby clothing? No, just a few onesies and sleep sacks. People just love to buy clothing so I figured I'd leave it up to them.
2. Register for baby wash/shampoo/lotions? Yes, I registered for a gift set that includes everything. Also registered for all the safety stuff like ear drops, tylenol also.
3. Register for toys? A few. Just some toys to hang from the car seat and stroller, but not too much
4. Register for books? I registered for a couple. They were really cute, soft chew-on type of books.
I didn't want to go too crazy with the little things since people often like to pick out their own stuff. I was mainly concerned about getting the big ticket items on the registry, especially for the completion discount for whatever I don't get as gifts.

I was torn, because I figure people will get these for us anyway - but we decided to register for a few just to have some low-priced options. (Most of the things we wanted were major purchases).
1. baby clothing? A few boring basics like sleep gowns.

1. Register for baby clothing? Just the basics at first (online), but then DH went zapper crazy in the store's clothing section and added a ton of stuff. I figured the registry looked kinda stupid with so much clothing on it so I deleted it all online a couple days later. Luckily DH will never know ...

3. Register for toys? a few, again DH's fault
4. Register for books? nope, we're inheriting boxes of them from my brother and sister

4. Just What to Expect: The First Year. We have a TON of books from when my sisters and I were kids, so we're passing them along. If we don't have some of DH's faves, we'll just go buy them.
