I know you're not doctors but...

in 1st Trimester
ok I know I should be asking my doctor this, and i will be after work today, but my dh an I had sex last night and afterward we noticed blood!  We've had sex a few times since BFP and I hadn't spotted at all.  It wasn't much though, but I'm still seeing some spotting when I wipe now... what do you all think?  and sorry if this had been asked a million times before...

    its probably your cervix, but why are you waiting to call the dr.'s? you should call them now in case they want to see you.

    i haven't experienced this myself but it does seem pretty common and harmless, so you probably needn't worry.  if the bleeding continues to get lighter than i would say that is a good sign it was just sex related in the first place.

    I spotted after sex (red to brown over 3 days), I called my doctor (1st day) and they had me come in after I passed a very small clot (3rd day). They checked the heartbeat (great), gave me the RH shot, and put me on a 'no sex' schedule for 2 weeks. They told me it's because your cervix is very sensitive.

    Call your doctor, it'll make you feel much better.

     i just wanted some peace of mind before i did ask.  maybe some of you have been through this... 

    i did call my doc after work and she's not even in the office till wednesday!  i guess she's on holidays.
