So thankful!

in 1st Trimester

I had my post-op appointment today. (I had emergency surgery to remove a cyst that was twice as big as the baby on Saturday).  Anyway, as soon as he inserted the u/s I could see the little heartbeat.  We also got to hear it for the first time too, how amazing!! I was so happy and am so very thankful that our little one made it through the surgery and anesthesia.

(S)he is still measuring a little small 8w6d, but thats ok there is plenty of time to make that up.  The only thing that has me a little worried is I have lost over 10 pounds since I got pregnant. Hopefully my nausea will pass in my 2nd tri and Ill get my weight on target.

    i am so happy for you that all has worked out so well.  i also had a cyst removed and felt such relief when everything was okay with the baby.  good luck to you for a healthy and happy.  and don't worry about the weight i am sure in time it will come.
