I had my post-op appointment today. (I had emergency surgery to remove a cyst that was twice as big as the baby on Saturday). Anyway, as soon as he inserted the u/s I could see the little heartbeat. We also got to hear it for the first time too, how amazing!! I was so happy and am so very thankful that our little one made it through the surgery and anesthesia.
(S)he is still measuring a little small 8w6d, but thats ok there is plenty of time to make that up. The only thing that has me a little worried is I have lost over 10 pounds since I got pregnant. Hopefully my nausea will pass in my 2nd tri and Ill get my weight on target.
Thanks for all the good thoughts and wishes. Have a great and restful weekend everyone!
Re: So thankful!
Glad your surgery went well. It is always wonderful to see the HB for the first time.
So happy for you that you got to hear the heartbeat. That's great that the baby came through okay.
GL on the weight.
