nbr: cooking help

so I usually post on here so I thought you guys could help me out. ?I don't usually eat pork but dh grandma is coming over for dinner. ?She likes pork. ?Im making a roast. ?The only think is its frozen and I just took it out. ?It will never thaw by 5:00. ?But every time I use the microwave on defrost it cooks the meat and it gets gross. Any advice on how to defrost this quicker.

You should be able to help it along by putting it in a cool water bath; it'll be quicker than letting it defrost on the counter.
