how are the roads today?

I am going to work today for the first time since Tuesday. I'm wondering how the roads are today. I was shocked to see so many schools off but I guess the side roads are still pretty bad. I will be heading up to West Chester in about an hour. Wish me luck!

I think the inch or so that fell last night did not help matters at all. The roads are better than they were yesterday, and more people are arriving at my office on time today, but I still personally think the roads suck. I just think we don't have a good system for our road crews around here. Just leave yourself plenty of time to get there and you should be OK......they're not terrible but certainly not great either.

Can't speak for this morning but last night the main roads and expressways were clear but wet.

However, small side streets were still horrid. I took salt to my mom and her entire neighborhood had not been plowed - niether has mine. I'm guessing why so many schools are still off - my daughters bus couldn't make it anywhere near our house.

Milford was pretty crappy. The highways are passable.

I was all over Butler County yesterday, not on the highway but mostly on bigger roads (Route 4, Union Centre, 747), but they were all perfectly fine.

I drove through West Chester last night and it was still really bad. 75 South was still a sheet of ice at Union Centre. Be careful.

My sister lives in West Chester and still hasn't seen a plow or salt truck on her street. She is going stir crazy...her DH is working from home and her 3 kids are driving her bonkers!!!
