I worked a temp job once where they didn't dress down on Fridays and no one told me (and I forgot to ask). I got a nice talking to in front of the rest of the staff. Good times.

Not any more. Hopefully again soon. It used to be Fridays and intercessions, but after some stuff happened this summer with the new president and everyone was on edge, our boss said no more. No flip-flops either, which sucks, because that is the majority of my shoe wardrobe.
But she's loosening up some (we got to wear jeans before Christmas), but really, it's more likely to depend on who our new division administrator is.

Nope. My office is kind of weird though, cause we are an extension of HR but work specifically for one department on campus. The department we work for allows jeans, even shorts any day of the week, but since we aren't really a part of that department (just reside in the same building) we have to wear business casual 5 days a week. No flip flops, no tennis shoes, no jeans, no capris....it really kinda sucks.

I am wearing jeans today due to Super Bowl festivities but usually Fridays are business casual no jeans but it seems like I always have a meeting or have to present so I end up in a suit anyway.

I can wear jeans everyday. I try not too, but often do. I just like being comfortable.
I can also get away with flip flops in the summer, but now that I've turned 30 I am going to stop that and were proper sandals.
if i fit into them
