Rolling over and messing up sleep? need help

ds rolls to his belly but cant get back.  this happens every 2 hrs or so and he doesnt get back to sleep.  any suggestions?  would letting him cry on his belly be cruel?  he keeps flipping over so I pretty much need him to fall asleep on my boob in order for him to go into his crib.  by 3-4am he is in bed with me because Im exhausted.

    Others might tell you it is a sids risk but we got a sleep positioner and then we got some sleep!  Hadley did this ALL THE TIME!  And still does if we don't use the positioner.  I tried getting her to figure it out on her own but that did not work very well!  GL!

    The sleep positioner was the only way we got any sleep for the 4-5 weeks before A started tummy sleeping. He could roll over it but it took him a long time so he usually fell asleep trying. The one i got was around $12 at Target.

    This happened to us too. It was so frustrating! The sleep positioner didn't work (she would wiggle out of it). Luckily she finally figured out to roll back. It was a week or two of no sleep, but it didn't last too long. Good luck!

    Ugh, I totally feel your pain. The sleep positioner worked for 2 glorious nights before he figured out how to get out of it.

    I rolled ds back over for an entire month. I was still doing it until Monday when I went into his room and actually watched him (while he was crying/fussing) get himself back over. And that was it. I stopped going in to him. He definitely protested for a couple days because he was used to me doing it for him.

    But, yeah you just sort of have to suck it up until they figure it out. I did tummy time and practiced practiced practiced with him every day.
