So I'm more than 1cm dilated but not quite 2, 50% effaced which is more than tuesday and my cervix has gone from posterior to anterior and is super soft and low. He said the cramps and contractions are a good sign and he ended up stripping my membranes in hopes that it throws me into active labor.
I have an appointment set up for 8:30am on Monday just in case this little bugger decides not to come but he thinks she will be here before then. We didn't talk any more about induction because he says she's a good size and everything looks healthy. He's not a fan on inductions if he doesn't have to do them. Which I suppose is good...but damnit, this kid better come out soon or else someone is going to get hurt!
Re: Ok...
My doctor doesn't believe in inductions either ::bites nails::
Come on out little SP and show us what you look like! Man you and Stephanie sure know how to hold on to some babies
Stripping membranes worked for me, too. 24 hours later I had a baby.
Good luck!
