**Goldenmama & Mwilson**

How is the sleeping situation going?

Golden - are you doing better at getting them back on track this week?

Mwilson - how did your boys do with the visitors?

We're having some tough mornings. They just aren't staying asleep until 6:30 am. Plus they are both waking up at all different times for their one feed. One night it was both of them at 2 am and then last night it was both of them at 10:30 pm. There's no consistancy.

  • morning....

well things are great with Colton he is STTN now, wakes up at 6:45 and is all smiles. He will only nap for short periods during the day but is happy to play in his crib for an hour or so...so I cannot complain.

Now Cooper on the other hand is going to put me over the deep end. He wakes up cranky and out of sorts...ummm yeah because he did not sleep at all! He is also doing this weird habit of falling asleep sitting up and leaning over his lovey ( a stuffed giraffe) and then will evently roll over and bonk  his head, wake himself up and be inconsolable for 10 minutes. Apparently DH did the same thing as a child.

We were having the issue of waking up at 5am for a while..it must be a phase because it went on for about two weeks and then they were back to the 6:45 wakeup.

I am just tired and cold and cranky today :( My cup of coffee is not helping yet!

  • Oh that is such a cute story about him falling asleep on his lovey - although I'm sure it's not so cute to you. :) Yeah, Marshall is on the move now and I think he bumps his head in the night and that's what wakes him most of the time.

Cecilia is still swaddled and doesn't move at all and usually sleeps better.

I really hope this "early waking" is a phase.

  • cute the first time but by the fourth time just plain annoying! good thing he is saying maaamaaaa now! heheeee
