You mentioned in a previous post that there were pills lactose intolerant people could take before eating heavy dairy products.

Is this something a doctor would prescribe? Or are they available over the counter?

DH is wanting to try out all possible options.

    You can buy them over the counter :-)  Can't remember what they are called b/c I don't use them anymore b/c I don't like dairy anyway.  Ask a pharmacist if you can't find them :-)  HTH!

    That is DH's biggest problem - he loves dairy (mainly cheese).

     Thanks for the recommendation - I will have him ask the pharmacist at his Kroger store. Smile
