Hi everyone! I'm new to the board. Can anyone recommend a good day care either in home or center in the area? I'm due in June but hoping not to go back to work until Oct. /Nov. This whole process is very overwhelming to me and I'm not sure what to do. How did you start looking? What did you look for in a good center? TIA!!
Sydney goes to the Goddard School on Rt 7, just past the 28 bypass. We love it...the teachers and staff are wonderful. It nice and clean and brightly painted. They have a really good program as well. We just started her at 16mos and in the 3 mos she has been there she has just blossomed.
I am in the process of looking in Reston and I want to warn you that some don't have availablity until Oct/Nov. so don't wait too long! I found one website for Reston daycares...then you can google each center. I just started this process last week so I don't have any information.
Re: Daycares in Reston/Sterling/Ashburn
This isn't area-specific, but there was just a post about how to get started looking for daycare:
