Curious: Twin Crib(s)

All of you that have twins:

Did you purchase one crib for them to share or two seperate cribs for them each to have their own or did you buy a special "twin" type crib?

Do your twins share a room/ nursery or each ahve their own?

    At first they started out in one crib. When we moved them into their room we put them in seperate cribs. I think they were about two months old. Sometimes I wish they had two seperate rooms because they can sometimes wake each other up in the middle of the night. I also find that because I am scared they will wake each other up I jump out of bed more than I need to. Not sure what the right answer on this is. I know they do get use to each other making noise, but in the middle of the night I think no matter what they are going to wake each other up. Curious to see what other people think about this.

    They shared a crib through five months and from then on slept in their own cribs. What is a twin type crib?? They both share a room.

    We had 3 cribs from the beginning.  After a few months, there was no crib sharing.  My girls (three of them!) have been sharing a room since they were 6 months old.  I hate to use the word "train" but that's really what you have to do in terms of sleeping.  I can have 1 up screaming and the other 2 will sleep thru it.

    THey're currently sharing a crib but we'll separate them when needed. And they share a nursery; we have a 2bdrm house.

    we are getting 2 of the Ikea Leksvik cribs - they take up a little less room than most other cribs b/c they are not ornate - very boxy- yet are the normal crib size.
