My name is Sarah and it is also my grandmother's name, but she went by Sadie her entire life. DH and I are considering for this for one of our twin girls names. We're considering Charlotte "Charlie" and also Elizabeth "Libby". Thanks for any thoughts!

You and I have very similar taste in names! I also love very classic names with cute nicknames for when a girl is young!

I love all those options, actually. I don't love Sadie as a given name, but I love it as a nickname for Sarah (I think that's what you're planning to do?). (Sadie as a given names seems a bit little girlish for a resume.)

Love the name Charlotte, and I think Charlie is a cute nickname.

Elizabeth is my #1 girl name (if only DH liked it...sigh). And Libby is my absolute favorite nickname for it!! Other suggestions (if you're trying to stay away from Liz or Beth) -- Betsy, Liddy (this is actually what Elizabeth Dole went by when she was in college), Ellie, even Izzy or Lilly. I actually once googled "nicknames for Elizabeth" and came up with a bunch of suggestions.
