2nd Trimester

preparing doggies

i played baby crying noises for the first time today to help prepare my puppies for the baby and the were completely unfazed!  my white dog looked at me confused for a couple minutes but then just kept on playing with the little one the rest of the time.  i'm so excited they didn't freak out- this is a great sign!

  • did you get that from Petsmart?
  • nope, i went to you tube!
  • not to worry you, but just so you know i played them for my pup too and she could've cared less but on Saturday when I had a real baby here and mommy was holding her it was MUCH more interesting... and when she coo'd or cried my dog was like "what the hell did you do to it?! you broke it!" LOL she didn't like "freak totally" but she went a little ape sh!t... Just running around and being excited like basically or wanting to investigate the baby. So it's a little different when it's a real thing in mommy's arms! haha!

Yeah... my dogs totally know the difference between fake and real babies. It's still good to expose them to as much as possible!
