  Definitely not needed IMO. We almost bought one that had an incline for M's reflux, but never ended up doing it.

  Ditto! At 6 months old, we're still using both b/c J loves to snuggle up to it (I guess it feels cozy).?

  Sleep positioners are not really recommended. There is no evidence that they make sleeping any safer.?

  I wasn't going to use one because I had heard they weren't safe, but Katie likes to feel snug and secure too, so we caved two weeks in. You can pick them up at consignmennt sales.
