evenflo symphony conv. seat....quick quest.

I tried putting it in my car using the latch's and the latch hooks on the seat don't reach : /

am I missing something? I feel like I am because I have read the instructions multiple times and it can't be rocket science?!

is there a way to adjust the latch straps so that they reach?

    my husband did it and I don't think he had a problem.  I am pretty sure that they aren't adjustable though... what type of vehicle are you putting it in?

    Not sure about the symphony, but on the triumph you have to cross the latch straps over each other.  HTH

    We had a similar issue. I drive an Accord and we could only get one side to latch. I am going to take it by the fire dept and see if they can't get it to work.

    I don't know if you already did this, but the latches are set to forward facing when you take the seat out of the box.  You have to switch the latch setting so that you can use it rear facing.  I don't remember the exact procedure, but it is in the manual and does require removing the seat pad. HTH!
