DH ended up in hospital last night

What a day yesterday. First we had snow, ice, sleet. School was canceled. I had an OB appt and NST. When we were leaving the hospital after my NST we had a flat tire (what fun that was with the weather) and thank god I wan't by myself. We get home DH leaves for work and then calls me toward the end of his shift to let me know he is going to the hospital. He had a fire call to respond to, went in the burning house (instead of waiting for the fire dept 2nd time he has done this) and had a medium case of smoke inhalation.

Of course I FREAKED out b/c it was night & icy, DS was sleeping and I can't go to the hospital b/c DH took my car and his sucks in bad weather. Thankfully everything was okay and he was release around 1:00AM. I am also lucky the stress of the situation didn't put in into labor. uugghh!! I hate when he has to be the 'hero' for every call he has.
