  The age your baby would be if born full term. So since my babies were born 9 weeks early, their adjusted age is 4.5 months, but their real age is 6.5 months going by their birthday.

  So if your child is premature by many weeks, many doctors go by the adjusted age for development etc...until about the age of 2.?

  Oh, I was just wondering because I had never heard of it.  It makes a lot of sense though.
