Did you read the book

A friend of mine has 3 year old twin daughters.  Well, she said that I should get the book "Twins, triplets and quads" because it saved her some time and answered a lot of questions.  Have any of you read it?  What do/did you think?  Should I get it?

Re: Did you read the book

  • Do you know who the author is?  There are a couple of books with a title similar to that.  I know I read one but it may not have been the same one...

  • No I didn't read that one. I really didn't want to read any bc I just wanted to dive in and figure it out. Unfortunately/ fortunately MIL didn't give a ratsass that I didn't want to read- she sent me three books on twins.  The best one was "Ready or not, here we come!" It was funny, quick and pretty informational. A good bathroom read-you have a toddler, you know the only reading time you get is in the bathroom Stick out tongue

  • It is by Barbara Luke and Tamara Eberlein.

And the pp is right, the ONLY time I get to read is in the bathroom.  I find myself going to pee, and in there for 10 minutes, because I wanted to read some more of a book, haha.

  • dr luke's book is great!

  • Yes. ?Read it. ?It's got good nutritional advice, but don't let it freak you out with all you need to eat.
  • I read it and found it very useful... not as doomsday as some of the other twin pregnancy books I peaked at... and the section on preterm labor was actually what made me suspicious that I might be having contractions (I was) and made me call my OB who put me on bedrest/medication, which kept my babies in for at least 8 more weeks... I am really glad I read it!
