1st Trimester

I wish I remembered more about my 1st pregnancy...

I posted the other day because I was worried that all we saw at my 5w5d ultrasound was a sac.  My doctor told me everything was fine but I was still worried.  So I was thinking it about it last night (which I've been doing 24/7 lately) and remembered that I had an early ultrasound with my daughter and all we saw was the sac.  So I went and pulled it up and it was at 5w4d.  So I feel a little bit better now.  Granted, I'm still worried, but at least I have a little hope.  Smile

It's amazing how quickly I have forgotten everything.  I wish I would have journaled or something.  Even now when my friends have babies and I hold their newborns, I don't even remember Rylie ever being that little.  I should probably start a blog like some of you, but I know I would never keep up with it.  So yeah, document as much as you can because it all goes so fast and is forgotten pretty quickly.

Re: I wish I remembered more about my 1st pregnancy...

  • I love my blog because I've done the same thing -- looked back & gone, "oohhh, so I did feel that at the same time."

  • I've started a kind of journal, only each time I write it is a letter to our little peanut.  I plan to keep doing it while they grow up.  I think it would be pretty cool to have when (s)he is older and having their old children.
  • I feel like that too!  I was going through baby pics the other night and it brought back so many memories.  I totally don't remember DD being that little!
  • With my first I got the "belly book" and documented everything week by week.  It was the best book and super easy.  Now I have everything documented for Jacob when he gets older.  I just ordered one from Amazon for this baby.  I know I would never keep up with blogging but this is a super easy way to write about your pregnancy and whatever is going on in the world.
