Hey, I have my first appt tomorrow with Dr. Mehta per your referral.  Do you remeber if they checked for the hb on your first appt?  Besides bloodwork and history I was just curious if they checked for the hb also.  tia!

    I don't remember much about it.  I remember they tested urine, blood and did an internal, then family history and gave me a packet on what I can eat and do during my pregnancy and what I can not.  I really can't remember much else.  The glucose tests and so on came later.  It was a long appointment but I felt so much better when I left!  I met with Dr. Mehta twice and she was really sweet. I never felt rushed with her and she was just really pleasant. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
