4 days lol I was all baby. I lost all 30 lbs before I left the hospital. Sorry Im not help but I am excited to get to get back on my elipitical (sp?) next week.
I was at my pre-pregnancy weight about 2 weeks after delivery. I got down to my 1st tri weight (I lost 11 lbs in my 1st tri) about 1 month after delivery. Now I'm holding at my 1st tri weight. My DH and I just started using the Wii fit and it is a lot of fun. I have done some of the exercises while holding one of my girls.
Don't feel bad, empwr; I'm sure there are more people like you and me. I gained 54 lbs during pregnancy (I followed Dr. Luke's guidelines). I lost 32 lbs the first week, 3 lbs the second week and regained 2 lbs this past week. So I have about 20 lbs more to lose and I have a feeling it might take a while.
It took me about 6 weeks or so to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I didn't do any exercising, I just pumped and took care of my girls. I was hoping to lose some more, but I've held steady at my pre-pregnancy weight for about 5 months now. I'm still pumping, though, so I imagine that helps keep me from gaining weight considering I eat all the time.
Also, I gained 55 pounds. I was down about 25 when I came home from the hospital.
I gained 58 lbs and I was at my pre pg weight around 3 months pp, but I still looked really awkward and strange. At 4 months I started to look more like my old self and now I am almost 20lbs below my prepg (post IVF) weight.
I gained 70lb during pregnancy (I ate like a pig) and I am now 15 above pre-pre-greg. I lost 40 by getting the babies out and getting rid of all the swelling and then the rest I have had to work for! I had to cut down eating to very small portions. I am going on a very rigorous diet soon so hopefully I can get the last 15 off!
I was back to my PP weight within 2 weeks also - I think breastfeeding really helps. I still, of course have about 15 pounds to lose from being pregnant with my daughter...and she'll be two on Saturday! I can say that once my life gets back into order, I'd like to start exercising again - my back is constantly hurting - I think it's from just lugging all the kids around and not having the stomach muscles that I used to.
It took me about 6 weeks. I gained 60-65 and most of it came off in the first couple weeks largely due to BF. I have been pre-pregnancy weight since then. I didn't start to exercise (aside from walking with them in the stroller) until they were 6 months. I wanted to make sure if I began running that my organs, back and knees were somewhat readjusted.
i gained 35 lbs (i delivered at 26 weeks) and most of it came off #'s wise between the babies, the pumping, and the water weight. ?even though i was about the same weight 6 months after my body was still different. ?jeans that used to fit didn't and i felt like i'd never get back into them. ?then, ?by 8 months things started to fit again. ?i was back into my skinny jeans. ?it took some time for my tummy to flatten all the way again. ?i have always exercised and got back to the gym at 6 weeks after the babies were born. ?i go 4 times a week and mostly take classes that combine cardio and light wieghts. ?i'm back to my 5'3" 100 lbs and it feels really good, but my babies are 14 months old...so don't stress. ?you'll get there.
I gained 44 lbs, had my babies 7 weeks early. I lost 28lbs in the first 10 days, then the rest came off within 2 weeks. I chalk it up to breastfeeding and stress! Took a few months for my body to look the same again. I work out about twice a week. And I eat a "Smart Ones" every day for lunch. I love them!
Yeah, not so much for me. I'm still about 5 pounds above pp weight, and my kids are 13+ months. I lost 25 before I came home from the hospital and then lost the rest kinda gradually. I'm still very flabby and hate my body with a passion. I fit in my pre-preg clothes but still not in my skinny goal clothes. I gained 43 pounds total with the pregnancy.
I was 12lbs under PP weight when we left the hospital. But-- i was soo sick that I was 35lbs under pp weight at 12w PG. So, I didn't get far above PP wight. Luckily, I'm right back to PP weight....super. I believe Laine sent me some awesome exercises- that are wicked hard for me right now. I've also been trying to do the jackknife on Wii fit. Holy moly that's hard...
I'm still 3 lbs above pp weight. ?I gained 65 lbs, and had some big ol' babies at almost 36 weeks. ?I lost the first 55 lbs in three months; the rest has slowly been coming off. ?But, I was pretty thin to start, too -- 5'8" and 127 lbs -- so I'm not complaining about being 130, since it's a healthy weight.
I still have 25 left to lose... I lost the first 30 or so fairly quickly (first 2 months or so) but the rest is STUCK! I am breastfeeding but supplementing with formula so maybe not enough breastfeeding for the weight to come off? Even though I still have a lot of weight to lose at least now I'm not looking quite as big and some of my old stuff is starting to fit... but barely... not enough to wear it out in public but at least I can put it on and hope someday it will look good... haha.

Thanks everyone. i was 110 and i'm stuck at 135, I BF until 1.5 mos and now i pump. they only eat Breast milk and they eat 4-6 oz every 3-4 hours so i think it quite a bit but the weight is just staying. i did gain A LOT during my pregnancy. grrr. i just wish this weight would come off. I just HATE how my body looks, and that it will never look the same. not to mention not to mention the extra 20lbs is pissing me off!
I lost 25-30 of the 40 lbs in the first few weeks. Unfortunately even with the BFing and pumping i still have the remaining 10-15 to lose. I know i shouldn't complain since i can basically fit into my old clothes but it still stinks!
Geez those first few respones made me feel pretty bad! It took me a few months to get close, and i'm now stuck at 5 lbs over and it is all in my belly which sux because i still look preggers. Once i stop BF/pumping i can give myself a stronger reason to try to take it off - but it's tough when the food tastes so dang good, i'm tired, and i feel like i deserve a brownie after all the hard day's work!
Re: Just wondering (if you want to share)
About a week, no exercising just pumping and delivering those babies.
