A woman contacted me via a nestie with some very sweet words for Brook.

Her nephew passed this past year from the same disease and she wanted to offer up some info and help, and her sister's contact info for Brook to help in any way she can.

and has links to other websites with info, how to donate for a cure, etc.

So sad.

i just looked - actually, that is a different owen with a similar website address. strange! but the owen in the original post by goldielocks had type 1, the same as carynne and sydney, and only lived for five months. the owen on SN has a different type, from what i can tell. what a coincidence, though!
