I'm not ready for this!!! Free standing!

AW!  She is free standing!  She did it for about 5 seconds today. She is 8 months today!  YIKES!

She was very calm.  Mommy was not.  lol

haha, DD just started doing the same a couple weeks ago. She can go up to 15 seconds now.  My heart stops every time she does it

I have to admit... I grabbed her during the 5 second one cause she was SO calm and doing so good... it really freaked me out!

DD did this today for about 2 seconds, and I flipped out.  I'm hoping it was just a freak occurrence, but she's also been holding on to the couch with only one hand, so I'm scared it wasn't.  I am not ready for an early walker AT ALL.

Caleb started standing with no hands around 9 months.  He still hasn't taken any steps yet.  When he does we are in trouble!

That's awesome! Scary, but awesome! How did she do it, letting go of something she was holding on to, or standing up from the floor?

DD keeps trying to stand up in the middle of the floor (she gets on her hands with her feet on the floor and her legs completely straight) but I'm terrified she's going to faceplant soon!

She let go of what she was holding on to... but she also does what your DD does!

DS started full on crawling today!!! I'm not ready for that either!!! Where did our babies go?
