Tomorrow night is my 10-yr HS reunion. Basically, they reserved the top floor of a bar down the street from our alma mater for $10/person to have an open bar.
Here's the deal: I live 2 hours away. It starts at 8pm. I liked the people I went to HS with, but didn't really keep in touch with anyone. (My closest friends are college friends.) So do I drive 4 hours round trip to hang out at the reunion for a couple hours, leaving DH with a bottle of EBM to put dd to bed, and then get home late--around 1am? Or should I just bag it? If you went to your 10 year, was it worth it? (On the other side of things, if you didn't go, did you regret missing it?)

I missed my 10 year and sort of regret it. It was held 30 minutes from where I lived at the time and I was too lazy to go. :-) I'll probadly go to our 15 year (they have those, right?). I just joined facebook and have connected with so many high school "friends" it will be nice to see them in person then.
So if I were you, I'd skip it. :-) Seems like a lot of work to me.

Mine was in Oct and I was one of the one's who helped plan it. I'm glad I went. I didn't keep in touch with many, but it was great seeing everyone!
And ours was $50 a person = $100 a couple. And that didn't include drinks. so, price wise, yours is a great deal!
I'd go, and maybe get a hotel room. You might have a great time and not want to drive home (even if your not drinking)
hth!
